Anoop Kumar has worked with Hindustan National Glass and PGP Glass, formerly Piramal Glass, for more than 31 years in total. He received his degree from KL Polytechnic in Roorkee. He joined PGP Glass after beginning his career as a modest shift executive.
PGP Glass became a pioneer in the industry in 2000 when it entered the cosmetic and perfumery bottle markets. He seized the chance and learned the craft of creating C&P bottles, eventually perfecting it. His advantage over the other workers at the plant grew as a result. Later, he was sent to the Jambusar facility to impart his experience with cosmetic jobs. This presented a significant challenge to him, particularly because it was a completely new plant where he had to instill stability and teach a sizable crew.
To meet the rising demand from the USA for specialty spirits bottles, PGP Glass constructed a new 250 TPD plant in 2021. A new challenge to stabilise the plant was presented to him after years of monitoring his abilities and knowledge. He eventually succeeded in stabilising the plant, despite a few early setbacks. The superb teamwork, direction, and confidence of management made all of this possible for him.
