NCCL is looking for a suitable person to be appointed as its 'Chief Executive Officer'. The selected candidate will be responsible to deliver upon business performance and oversee all operations, compliance, and corporate governance of NCCL. S/he will be responsible for shaping the organization's strategic direction while implementing its vision, mission and long-term goals.
About the candidate:
Over 20 years of experience in the field of financial markets, risk management, compliance, operations or management.
Demonstrated track record in a leadership/senior management role, driving business performance, building trusted relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Good understanding of relevant market developments, regulatory framework, product and technology.
Exposure to the functioning of a clearing corporation and understanding of the life cycle and value chain of agricultural commodities, logistics and storage will be an advantage.
The candidate shall have to fulfil the eligibility criteria under the Companies Act, 2013 and SERI regulations. The said appointment shall be subject to the approval of the Board and Shareholders of NCCL and SERI. The appointment shall be for a maximum period of 5 years and the candidate can be reappointed in accordance with the regulations laid down by SERI.
Maximum age as on October 1, 2024: 60 years.
Location: Mumbai.
Remuneration: As per industry standards.
