The Role

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Maintain and update financial records, encompassing bookkeeping duties and overseeing AP/AR functions.
  • Address phone calls and emails from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Arrange and manage appointments and meetings as necessary.
  • Monitor incoming payments, including scheduled, pending, and declined transactions.
  • Engage in customer outreach to manage collections accounts, including follow-ups and potentially challenging conversations.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Ideal Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a remote worker.
  • At least 2 years' experience in bookkeeping roles.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region.
  • Familiarity with Google Apps such as Spreadsheet, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar is advantageous.
  • While a Bachelor's degree or related qualification is preferred, it's not mandatory.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
